In 2005, the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois launched the nation’s first KidneyMobile®, a custom motor coach offering free mobile education and screening services to Illinois communities. The KidneyMobile® is the nation’s only traveling chronic kidney disease screening program.

National Kidney Foundation of Illinois (NKFI) is dedicated to preventing kidney and urinary tract diseases, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation. NKFI will provide all materials and supplies for: BP, Urinalysis, BMI/Waist Circumference, Glucose Testing, A1C, and Blood Draw (if needed), and KidneyMobile® educational tours.
At the screening:
- Participants should anticipate spending 45 minutes at the screening
- Each participant will be asked to complete a short health history questionnaire
- No appointment necessary
