Jessica Davis’ True Rewards Story
After unbearable leg pain, Jessica had an aortic bypass performed by Memorial's Heart & Vascular Center of Excellence team.
Jessica is 34, engaged, and an animal lover and advocate. As the head cook for the Columbia American Legion, she is on her feet for most of the day. A couple years ago she was having pains in her right leg and foot that kept getting worse. Eventually she could only be on her feet for a couple hours at a time before she experienced severe pain.
After a doppler ultrasound on her leg, a blockage was found. Jessica had surgery to fix the blockage, and everyone on Memorial's team did everything they could to calm her nerves throughout her hospital stay. Since her surgery and recovery, Jessica says, "Everything has been fabulous."
