Community Programs

Memorial Senior Counseling Services, previously known as Memorial Senior Care, celebrated its 15th anniversary on October 15. This service offers seniors in the community outpatient group and individual counseling in a warm, confidential home setting.

When cancer is found early with screening, patients may undergo less invasive surgeries and retain more of their lung tissue.

The first Medical Explorer Post 9084 with Memorial Hospital was held this past spring. Twenty-five students participated in the Explorer Post 9084 program, which introduces high school students to careers in healthcare over the course of three Saturday mornings.

Funds raised from churches during the 2014 Progress Rooted in Tradition Capital Campaign for Memorial, along with contributions from Memorial employees, were used to create a tranquility garden adjacent to the front entrance of Memorial Hospital East.

For almost 30 years, employees of Memorial Hospital Belleville, Memorial Hospital East, Memorial Care Center, and Belleville Health and Sports Center have established a tradition of generously supporting Memorial Foundation.

Memorial Foundation’s Healing Arts Program provides an opportunity for donors to select artwork for designated spaces on the campus of Memorial Hospital East. This program will be available at Memorial Hospital Belleville in the near future.
